Twin Cities Bike Tour Route Details
With 3 main routes ranging from 6.5 to nearly 47 miles we know the TCBT will be a ride that everyone can enjoy. The Party starts at Wabun Park near Minnehaha Falls.
Routing sure would be easier with a Midtown Greenway Extension over the Mississippi. Learn More.
The Flagship Route – 46.8 miles – 4 Rest Stops!
Covering much of the Saint Paul Grand Round and the Minneapolis Grand Rounds, this route will cover the Twin Cities in a counter-clockwise direction to reduce congestion on the trails. Riders will head east into Saint Paul shortly after leaving Wabun Park and hitting your first rest stop at Twin Cities in Motion just 7 miles in. 8 miles later (mile 15) you arrive at the Lake Phalen Picnic Pavilion. 7 miles from Lake Phalen (24 miles total in) you’ll arrive at Dual Citizen Brewing Rest Stop (who have graciously agreed to open their tap room at 10am to host riders of the TCBT and enjoy $1 off taps!). Enjoy treats or a mid ride beverage and continue on towards Minneapolis via the number 9 bridge on the Dinkytown Greenway and gaze at the Stone Arch Bridge construction from afar. Begin the fun climb up West River Parkway to the Midtown Greenway where you’ll arrive at the Venture Bikes rest stop just 9 miles from Dual Citizen. Round the iconic lakes of Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet and you’ll arrive at the Minnehaha Creek Parkway trail that carry you all the way back to Wabun Park for the finish.
