The Tour des Jardains

The Tour des Jardins is a social bicycle ride between community gardens and urban farms in Saint Paul. The event is something between an open house, a bike ride, a culinary adventure, and a social gathering to bring people together in a fun way and strengthen our network of local community gardens.

Participating gardens will host visitors for about an hour, providing an appetizer or beverages. They may use produce from their garden in a featured dish/beverage. A garden representative will be on hand to provide a tour of their space and answer questions about the garden’s features.

Times are approximate guesses. We want to provide a structure you can use to plan your day. You are welcome to join us for the whole tour, or as many stops as you like.

The bike ride will be leisurely and fun. Riders should be comfortable with riding 15 miles. Mechanics will be on hand to help if your bike has mechanical issues but they’ll have limited capabilities. The tour is not just for cyclists. You are welcome to drive if you like.
