Bike & Build Community Ride

Spend the day biking around 10-15 miles through the Twin Cities to meet with local leaders in affordable housing. You’ll learn about the housing landscape of the city, hear from the organizations working to make an impact, and learn how you can get involved beyond this one-day ride.

You’ll meet:
1. Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative to hear about their mission to imagine a community where all people have a home, along with their 4-part strategy to address housing issues in St Paul, MN
2. Ryan Allen, Associate Professor for Urban and Regional Planning at the Hubert Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and hear about his work regarding housing and community development with a focus on the experience of immigrant communities in the U.S.
3. Trellis Co. (formerly Community Housing Development Corporation) and their work to provide stability for people and communities as a nonprofit developer, manager, and owner of affordable housing.

Registration is $50 and financial assistance is available!
