Join us for the 2nd annual Bike the Arb event. This year we will host a 13.3k Road Race and geocaching by bike led by Carver County Parks.

Schedule of Events:
7:30-9:30 a.m. 13.3k Road Race
Participants will start at the stop sign at the beginning of Three-Mile Drive. They’ll take Three-Mile Drive to Eastern Drive, turn around in the Farm at the Arb parking lot and return to Three-Mile Drive via Eastern Drive. They’ll follow Three-Mile Drive back to the starting point of the race, and take a second lap on the same course. The finish line is at the same location as the starting point.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Bike Activities
Geocaching by Bike
Geocache along Three-Mile Drive by bike! Carver County Parks and Recreation will set up a fun course that takes riders on an adventure all over the Arb. $5 for Arboretum members and children/$20 for non-members.

Do I get a t-shirt for the race?
Race T-shirts are sold out. Cyclists can still join the fun by registering for a “no race T-shirt” option for a discounted price
Can I stay and bike more after the race or enjoy the Arb gardens?
Yes. Bicyclists can bike on any roadway at the Arboretum. Park your bike in a bike rack for close up views of our gardens along our foot paths and sidewalks.
Can my family come and watch the race?
Everyone that enters the Arboretum must have an admission ticket. Admission is free for members and children 15 and younger. Non-members need to reserve a $15 admission pass (add link). Race participants do not need an additional admission ticket.
Will the Three-Mile Drive be open to cars during Bike the Arb Day?
The Three-Mile Drive will be closed during the 13.3K Road Race from 7 a.m.-9:30 a.m. The drive will be open during the geocaching by bike.
