8th Annual Leftovers Ride with Joyful Riders
Our eighth-annual Leftovers Ride is returning for another year of silliness, sharing, community, and a smidge of low-key debauchery on the infamous day after Thanksgiving.
After (or instead of) shopping till we drop, we meet up for a Black Friday ride, bike somewhere special, build a roaring fire, and feast on our Turkey Day leftovers while enjoying each other’s joyful company.
The Leftovers Ride includes a special tradition that started at our inaugural ride, when we found a table in the woods and burnt it. Now, every year, we burn a new table to celebrate!
We’re anticipating about 10 miles round trip for this year’s ride, beginning and ending at Graze Provisions + Libations food hall in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Led by Mario Macaruso and Patrick Stephenson of 30 Days of Biking, the Joyful Riders Club meets up at Graze Provisions + Libations at least once a month for friendly paced, family-friendly social rides.
ROUTE & PACE: When the weather’s pleasant, we typically max out at 10 miles round trip, include stops for water and bathroom breaks. We go at the pace of our slowest riders! We promise you will be able to keep up, and you won’t be left behind.
WEATHER: We ride no matter the weather, unless lightning’s striking, and modify our route based on the difficulty of the meteorology. We’ve been known to circle the block 8 times, LOLing all the way, if the rain is pouring.
Joyful riders of all speeds and experience levels are welcome, no one’s left behind, and you can count on high-fives (or elbow taps) galore. Masks optional, up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination recommended.
