GLOBAL FAT BIKE DAY!
Looks for various rides all over Minnesota
The first Saturday in December is Global Fat Bike Day, falling this year on December 2nd. A fat bike is a bicycle that has oversized tires to create additional grip and traction to travel effortlessly over rough terrain. They are designed specifically for off-road riding, particularly on sand or snow. The holiday started in 2012 with a group of fat bike enthusiasts from the UK dreaming of gathering amazing people wherever they are in the world and riding! Saturdays are popular for riding and allow people to go on longer rides. While the event is still online, it turned global and has grown in scale over the years.
