The Third Annual Rosewood Gramble is Back
Saturday September 20th, 2025
5 Different Routes
Providing a variety of experiences for everyone from the newest and youngest bicyclists, to those looking for a gravel riding challenge.
A Thief River Falls Autumn Adventure
2x gravel choices, rambles or scrambles on gravel (Gramble) of 25 miles and 62 miles long. One rest stop for the short event. We’ll haul your resupply choices and have them ready halfway through at the Bethlehem Church for the longer gravel event and have extra goods available. Rest rooms, picnic shelter and water are all available at the church. The 62 mile route riders can also take in the rest stop for the 25 mile route at mile 54. We’ll take in some of the former beach ridges of Glacial Lake Agassiz, minimum maintenance roads, a bit of trail, sand, grass, maybe some mud. (As of 9/30 everything is dry and the gravel easy riding!) The 62 mile route is for those more self sufficient. Minimal support provided with sweep/sag and painted directional signs on the gravel. There will be drinks, fruit, pastries, and granola bars to load up on at the start. GPS routes and cue sheets will also be available for download and printing.
CHECK-IN & DAY OF REGISTRATION 8:15AM-9AM. 62 Mile Gravel Riders should be underway by 9AM.
But wait, there’s more…
We also have paved 16 and 30 mile routes – the Rosewood 30, mostly on quiet county roads in Pennington and Marshall County that will roll through Rosewood. They also get a rest stop.
We’ll start the 62 mile gravel event at 8:30 am with a neutral rollout, the 25 mile route and paved routes at 9:30 am.
But wait, there’s STILL more…
For riders not comfortable riding our area roads and families with young riders they can register and ride the MEC/Northland trail loop starting at 9:30 AM. Ride as many loops as you like on the 1.25 mile course. We have a paid and free option for this ride.
After Party, Lodging, etc
Our after ride gathering will be at Rivers and Rails Brewing with a food truck onsite and discount offered for participants and volunteers. Random drawing for prizes and bragging rights for first to finish in each event.
For riders staying overnight the Americinn will offer a 10% discount off your stay with the code “Gramble”. Call 218 681-4411 for reservations
Part of proceeds will go to the Thief River Falls Community Fund which supports non profit and charitable organizations in the area as well as bike infrastructure in Thief River Falls.
