Black Bike Week – An Evening with Nelson Vails, 1984 Olympian

Sunday, August 4th, 5:30 PM, Dinner at 6:00 PM 1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway, Minneapolis, MN Melanin In Motion, Bike MN will welcome Nelson Vails, the first and only African American to medal at the Olympics in Cycling (1984). We will have him for an evening of Bike Films, great food, conversations, and storytelling about the last 40 years as a superstar known better outside the United States than at home, how cycling has allowed him to travel the world, and how he has grown beyond the bike athlete into an advocate .
