ABOUT THE PICCOLOOur party-forward and family-friendly Piccolo Fondo is back! This year’s route is 24 miles, mainly on flat, paved trails. You’ll roll out of the brewery at 11am along with our police escort, who’ll deliver you right to the edge of the fabulous network of Three Rivers Park District trails, which you’ll take all the way to Hopkins. Just a few short blocks after exiting the trail, you’ll arrive at Pizza Luce for mid-ride refreshments prior to heading back to the block party following the same route you took to get out there. We’ll have signs to help you navigate, and you’ll be rolling with our very best Party Ambassadors from the Joyful Riders Club if you need help along the way!
ABOUT THE MEDIOMaybe you’re getting your season off to a solid but moderate start. Maybe sitting in the saddle for 100 miles isn’t in the cards for you this year – and that’s okay! Let’s be honest, 50 miles is still plenty for a Saturday morning. Whatever your reason is, we’ve designed the MEDIO route just for you. You’ll be entirely on roads with the Medio, and we’ll have signs posted and GPS routes available. With an aid station half(ish) way through, you’ll be back in NE MPLS before you know it and in great shape to join the party festivities. The Medio rolls out at 10am this year, so no sleeping in!
ABOUT THE GRANWhat’s better than riding 50 miles with nearly 2,000 friends? Riding 100 miles with nearly 2,000 friends, duh. The Fondo completes a 100-or-so mile loop encompassing urban road riding, suburban side streets, some wide-open country roads, and makes stops at 3 aid stations along the way. This year we’re excited to offer a short timed segment for those that sign up for the Gran! Details are in the FAQ section below. After the ride when you arrive back at our NE MPLS production brewery, you’ll be received and celebrated by thousands of party goers, and as much Fulton beer as necessary to recoup.
