Handup Racing Social Series
Join Handup Racing every Thursday evening throughout the summer for bike rides and community building. Leaving Behind Bars bike shop and ending at Bauhaus Brewery, the social rides will follow a variety of routes typically on pavement. These are NO-DROP rides. We ride as a group and nobody gets left behind. Routes will vary through the summer with an average rolling pace of 12-15 MPH and anywhere from 10-15 miles long. These are NO DROP, meaning we will offer support for the ride and ensure no one gets left behind but please remember to check the route details each week to see if the ride is right for you, your bike, and your fitness level.
Rides Depart:
Behind Bars Bicycle Shop, 208 13th Ave. NE, at 6 P.M.
Rides Finish:
Bauhaus Brew Labs, 1315 Tyler St NE, around sunset.
First-time riders will get a free beer token!

BRING THE FOLLOWING: Helmet (all riders must have a helmet), lights, lock and water.
No Drop Rides: The HandUp Racing Social Series are no drop rides, meaning we will help each rider get back, but it does not mean you can’t leave or peel off. Each ride will have a sweep, a Handup Teammate ensuring that everyone on the ride stays on the route and no one gets left behind. The sweep can also assist with minor bike repairs such as flat tires. You are always welcome to leave the ride at any point for any reason.
Community Guidelines: Hand Racing has a zero tolerance policy to harassment, hate and hostility. We are here to build and support the community. All participants must be kind and respectful both on and off the bike. Follow the rules of the road, give space to other trail users, and do not ride in a risky manner. Respect others’ identities, pronouns, personal space, and more. Sexist, racist, transphobic, homophobic, xenophobic, and ableist language/behavior won’t be tolerated. If we feel you are breaking these rules, you will be asked to leave the ride.
