2023 Lake Alice 100
NO PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED – JUST SHOW UP EVENT DAY!
What: A 1.2 mile looped course around, you guessed it, Lake Alice. As the name suggests, some are attracted to attempt their first “century” ride (a feat of 100 miles in a single day) by riding about 87 laps, but this is definitely not the majority of rider participants and certainly not an expectation. Whether your Lake Alice 100 is 100 miles, 100 kilometers, 100 furlongs (about 12.5 miles), 100 minutes, 100 light-years, or just a good excuse to lounge by a quaint lake and watch others ride bikes all day be assured you’ll be in 100% good company in Fergus Falls every May.
When: Saturday May 13, 2023. Course opens officially at 9am and ends at 4pm.
Where: Rest Stop and Start is at St. James Episcopal Church Fergus Falls Minnesota
Who: In partnership with BikeMN Chapter Pedal Fergus Falls
Why Ride it?
Not only will the 2023 event be the 10th anniversary of the Lake Alice 100, it’s also still FREE!
With a 1.2-mile loop, you’re never more than 1.2 miles away from the next rest stop where you can grab a banana, some Gatorade, or socialize with the members of Pedal Fergus Falls who host the FREE event with a handful of local sponsors. With an accessible distance, expect to see participants from ages between 4 to 85 riding all sorts of different bicycles on the shared course. Very few rides offer a similar experience.
