RideMN1 – Minnesota Crossing
RideMN1 is a non profit Cancer Awareness Organization – we are an educational organization – No fund raising required!
We cross Minnesota each September promoting healthy lifestyles – get those screenings! – while carrying our message that we are winning the war to end cancer. Join us for a different tour – You will know everyone’s name by the end of the week. Participant feedback consistently labels us as the ‘most fun Bike Tour’. No loops for us, we are on a mission.
Registration for our 2024 Minnesota Crossing opens February 1st.
We will be Riding MN #1, Minnesota’s longest highway (our namesake) from beginning to end.
The dates and itinerary are:
9/7 Sat Warren – Oslo – Warren (Optional Warmup) 17 miles each way, 34 total
9/8 Sun Warren – Grygla 62 miles
9/9 Mon Grygla – Red Lake 60
9/10 Tue Red Lake – Effie 76
9/11 Wed Effie – Cook 51
9/12 Thu Cook – Ely 45
9/13 Fri Ely Layover 0
9/14 Sat Ely – Silver Bay 67 Total = 361 mile (395 miles with Optional Saturday Warmup)
Our Ride is all inclusive (all meals, camping/lodging, luggage transport, and SAG support are included). This year we will be staying in motels Monday (Red Lake) and Wednesday (Cook), wrapped around Tuesday night in Effie which will have very limited services.
This is an outstanding route!!! with lots to see in Ely on our layover.
We will also be offering luxury motor coach service on Saturday morning from Garrison/Aitkin MN (leaving at 9 am) to Warren, and back to Garrison/Aitkin from Silver Bay at the conclusion.
