Y-Knot Tri
The Y-Knot-Tri is a volunteer led fundraising effort, with a percentage of proceeds benefitting the Lake City silent sport community. This year the Y-Knot Tri committee has chosen to support the Lake City Nordic Club. On October 2nd Race Director, Joe White, and Elizabeth Greenawalt, Lake City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director presented a check to the club.
Lake City Nordic is a cross country ski club in the high school for 7th-12th grade students. The club actively meets to cross country ski from mid-November until the end of February. The club practices together, participates in ski events, and partakes in races. All equipment for skiing is provided; students just need to bring a desire to participate.
